Sajjad was delighted to be able to join colleagues at the annual Cumbria Conservative councillors away day.
The event was hosted by local County and Borough Councillor Tony Markley who is also Mayor of Silloth.
The full day briefing was held at Silloth Golf Club and enabled Councillors to take part in a range of sessions covering policy, manifesto and campaigning in the run up to next year's vital County Council elections.
Police and Crime Commissioner Peter McCall briefed Councillors on his work since his election in May and took questions on key areas of local concern.
Sajjad joined Peter McCall and Lord Henley for a broad based panel session, taking in a wide range of issues in questions plus follow up discussions from the floor, including Regional devolution, Brexit and EU migration.
You can view Sajjad's responses to some of the questions in the attached videos.
Commenting on the event Sajjad said " It is a privilege to join our Cumbria Councillors at what has become a very important annual event."
"I always find it a very useful exchange of views on key topical issues and with the UK moving towards Brexit and vital elections next year, this year's meeting was especially important.
"As always it was a real pleasure seeing Cumbria Conservatives Councillors and our Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner Peter McCall, in Silloth. A great team delivering for Cumbria."
